There's something about a second drink that brings out the old lady singer in me, be it Ethel Merman (although I know none of her songs; I just sing what I know in her voice), Dinah Washington or Billie Holiday. Tonight it's Billie.
You go to my head
Like a sip of sparkling burgandy brew
And I find the very mention of you
Like the kicker in a Mike's Hard Lime or two
In trying to figure out what to do with my time, since I'm not finding anything decent to watch, I settled on attempting the Dorky Dotty Effect. I got stuck on step 5, so that plan is scrapped. I'm not going to expect Dooce to be reading her mail on a Friday night to get my plea for more instruction.
Anyway, before I post what I've done so far in my Dorky Dotty Effect activity, I want to first show you how incredibly cute my daughter really was on this day.
She is not normally the evil troll-looking thing that appears below.
The smudge over her left eye is from a prior face plant on the front door screen.
That posted, here is what I have so far. I need some help in getting the color to blend through the second layer. Hopefully Dooce will get back to me and I'll get this project finished with a big fat A++++.
