Since Bug likes to cook, and I like to cook with Bug, each weekend we shall have a cooking project. Last weekend we went a little overboard, trying three projects.
First, there was the bread. Ingredients were carefully measured out and put in the bread machine. Still, It wasn't very successful. Stuff was hard as a rock.

Second, there was the cheesey pretzels. Ingredients were carefully measured out and put in the mixer. The dough was rolled and cut, then curled into place by our clean, loving hands. They tasted about as good as they looked. Ugh.

Third, there was dinner for Daddy: drumsticks. Bug had a lot of fun mixing the marinade with the "wiks" and "painting the chicken." Like our earlier projects, the results weren't impressive, either.
This weekend we did two projects, a pumpkin pie and a turkey pot pie. Bug opted out of helping with the second so she could ride her scooter around and practice her spelling on her Word Whammer. And I swear that this was her doing, with letters she pulled out of the cabinet all by herself. My girl. hee!

The pies came out perfectly, by the way.
