Bug: Mommy, why does everyone have to die?
Momma: It's a part of life, Bug. Imagine if everyone lived. The world would be awfully crowded!
Bug: We should help people not have to die!
Momma: You know, there are doctors who investigate ways to keep people from getting certain kinds of illnesses. Maybe when you grow up you can be one of them. Would you like to do that?
Bug: No. I want to work at McDonald's.
I should clarify, lest K think I've been indoctrinating the kids since he's been away. We've gone on two occasions for nugget and apple Happy Meals when in a rush. The other day when we went, Bug seemed very interested in the lady in the drive-thru window. At one point she said, "Hey, Momma! When I get bigger I could work in there!"
